Newborn Mom Planning Loading...

I'm convinced my first-time-mom pregnancy / postpartum era would have been way less stressful if I had known all the stuff you actually NEED. There's so much information out there and those pregnancy and postpartum hormones can lead you down some wild reddit rabbit holes that will make your head spin. I found that it was much more helpful to keep things simple.

These are my absolute, non-negotiables that got me through those newborn days.

NEWBORN ESSENTIALS (IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE)

My Baby Essentials:
1. Nipple Butter
2. Newborn Diapers
3. Frida Mom Disposable Underwear (specifically the boyshorts)
4. Wildbird Aerial Carrier
5. Stroller
6. Nursing pillow
7. Cozy Clothes
8. Onesies for baby (no need for fancy outfits)
9. Bedside bassinet
10. Snuggle Me Baby Lounger or Dock a tot
11. Haakaa pump
12. Pigeon bottles
13. Bibs Pacifiers

Everything else is extra. For the first couple months baby was in onesies, I was half naked, and the only things that mattered were contact naps and newborn snuggles.

Keep it simple. You got this mama ◡̈
